Florian Mühlstein appointed new Head of Youth Training & Devel­op­ment

In Florian Mühlstein, the ÖEHV has secured not only a former professional and national team player, but also an individual with experience in youth development. Mühlstein has been working as Regional Head of Development in Carinthia since April 2019, and is therefore familiar with the tasks and objectives involved in developing the foundations of Austrian ice hockey.

Going forward, the four-time Austrian champion will support the regional heads of development in their work, chair monthly meetings with them, be responsible, in consultation and coordination with ÖEHV Men's Sporting Director Roger Bader, for implementing the content of the A, B and C coaching licences, deal with recruitment and the talent identification pyramid, and develop concepts to promote Austrian youth development.

In addition, Florian Mühlstein will continue to serve as Head Coach of the U16 national team.
