EC Red Bull Salzburg claim the ÖEHV U18 International League championship trophy
EC Red Bull Salzburg's youth set-up secured its second title of the Saturday evening. Following the U20, the U18 celebrated a 6:0 win over the Nordic Hockey Academy, won the best-of-five series 3:0 and are Austrian champions of the ÖEHV U18 International League 2024/2025, while the Nordic Hockey Academy finish in second place.

Salzburg left nothing to chance in the third final, although the match remained tight in the Rosental until the second period following Red Bull's early 1:0 through Justus Kaufmann in the 7th minute. Paul Oberhauser converted from close range in the slot to make it 2:0 in the 23rd minute, before Justus Kaufmann added the 3:0 shorthanded with a backhander in the 28th minute. Shortly afterwards, Kees de Jage set Salzburg on course for victory and the championship with the 4:0 in the 29th minute.
Nico Koschek was perfectly positioned at the far post for the 5:0 and poked the puck over the line from close range in the 38th minute. The Nordic Hockey Academy had no response, and Nikita Bloch made it 6:0 following a fine attack in the 49th minute. Both teams missed a penalty shot, but Salzburg ultimately ran out clear 6:0 winners.
