Dominic Zwerger moves to EHC Biel within Switzerland
In the summer of 2026, Dominic Zwerger will begin a new chapter in his career. As announced on 22 December, the ÖEHV forward has signed a four-year contract with EHC Biel and will leave HC Ambri-Piotta after a total of nine years.

The two teams are currently neighbours in the Swiss National League standings. After 33 rounds, EHC Biel-Bienne sit 10th with 41 points, with HC Ambri-Piotta following behind in 11th place. This season, Zwerger has recorded twelve goals and eight assists. The Vorarlberg native is one of the absolute fan favourites.
Biel are well aware of Dominic Zwerger's qualities, Martin Steinegger, GM EHC Biel-Bienne: "With Dominic Zwerger, we are signing a player with a pronounced offensive instinct and a very good eye for goal. His energy and emotionality are key elements of his game and will provide our offence with additional valuable impetus."
