Dominant: Steelers crown themselves champions
The Carinthian Steelers continued their display of dominance from the regular season at the finals tournament, recording 15:0 and 17:0 victories to claim the 2021/2022 title without dropping a point.

The Steelers not only defended their title from the previous year, but virtually celebrated it throughout the entire season. Six games, six wins in the regular season, a goal difference of 67:2! They went into the finals tournament with four bonus points and raised their game even further.
They recorded a 15:0 win against the Steirische Panther Graz team and gave HV Warriors no chance either in a 17:0 victory. Unsurprisingly, the top 6 places in the scoring list are occupied exclusively by Steelers players. Leading the way was Werner Winkler, who won all three categories: Goal Leader with 34 goals, Assist Leader with 33 assists and, of course, Scoring Leader with 67 points.
