DEBL: KAC Damen, Villach Lady Hawks, Graz99ers Huskies II and Women Capi­tals reach the Final Four!

The Villach Lady Hawks built up a comfortable cushion against Rampage Veszprem with a 9:0 away win ahead of Saturday's home game at the Ossiacher See Halle in Steindorf, which the Villach side again won convincingly, 10:1. After a 2:0 first period, the blue-and-whites stepped things up in the second, with a 7:1 scoreline over the second 20 minutes sealing the result. Villach won 19:1 on aggregate.

The KAC Damen went into Saturday's second leg at the Sepp-Puschnig-Halle carrying a 1:5 deficit against Hokiklub Budapest II at the Sepp-Puschnig-Halle facing a __OEHV_NUM_J_A__ deficit. A sensational comeback saw the Red Jackets turn the tie around at home, winning 7:2 thanks to two late goals in the final period and taking the quarter-final 8:7 on aggregate.

The clash between MAC Marilyn Budapest and Graz99ers Huskies II was an exciting affair – at least in the first period. The Styrians, who had edged a 3:2 away win in Hungary, set course for the Final Four with two goals in the middle period. In the end, the Huskies celebrated a 3:0 home win, taking the tie 6:3 on aggregate.

Defending champions Women Capitals established a __OEHV_NUM_V_A__ lead in the first game against Ferencvarosi Torna Club took a 5:1 lead into Sunday’s second leg. In Hungary, the home side were able to maintain a 3:2 lead after 40 minutes, but the Viennese side equalised at 3:3 late on, meaning the Caps qualified for the Final Four as the final team with an aggregate score of 8:4.

The Final Four will take place on Saturday, 22 March 2025, and Sunday, 23 March 2025, at the Heidi-Horten-Arena and the Sepp-Puschnig-Halle in Klagenfurt. The hosts, EC-KAC Damen will face the Graz99ers Huskies II, while the Villach Lady Hawks will take on the defending champions, the EAC Women Capitals. The finals will follow on Sunday.

The quarter-final ties will be decided over a first and second leg in the Champions Hockey League (CHL) format. The aggregate score from the two matches played will be used. The team leading on aggregate after the first and second legs advances to the Final Four.

Should the aggregate score be level at the final buzzer after 120 minutes, the decision will be made in a ten-minute three-on-three overtime and, if necessary, a penalty shootout with five shooters per team.
