Coaches Clinic: New record and strong repu­ta­tion for ÖEHV

Over the past ten years, Roger Bader has been responsible for the content and speakers at the Coaches Clinic. The event is delivered and organised by his staff, led by Timo Gless, who also skilfully moderated the concluding panel discussion.

“The Coaches Clinic is a success story,” says Roger Bader proudly. “It consistently offers top-level presentations and networking. We are delighted that interest continues to grow and that we have set a new record with 140 participants. Our sincere thanks also go to the many international experts who have shared their experience and knowledge over the past years.”

The Coaches Clinic was opened by Roger Bader himself, who provided an in-depth insight into preparations for the 2024 World Championship, the World Championship in Prague itself and the lessons learned from it.

Lars Weibel spoke about leadership, while Patrick Fischer, Head Coach of the Swiss national team since 2015 – and therefore one year longer than Roger Bader – introduced the participants to his ice hockey philosophy and outlined the development of the Swiss national team over the past ten years.

Thomas Eidler concluded by captivating the audience with his partly philosophical remarks, also touching on the recent European Football Championship.

The evening was rounded off by Roger Bader, Patrick Fischer, Lars Weibel and Christoph Brandner in the panel discussion, which addressed the development of ice hockey from youth level through to the senior national teams.

With the 2024 Coaches Clinic, ÖEHV once again presented itself at the highest international level and received considerable praise from both speakers and participants.
