Villach native Michael Raffl, forward for the Philadelphia Flyers, has been honoured for his play-off performances in the National Hockey League.

Michael Raffl's strong performances in the NHL play-offs have impressed the experts at specialist magazine "The Hockey News". The Philadelphia Flyers forward was selected by the THN experts for the "Rest of the World" play-off team, for which players from outside the six leading nations (Canada, USA, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic) are eligible.
Despite an injury, Raffl scored four goals in nine play-off games and was selected alongside, among others, league MVP Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers), Stanley Cup winner Erik Cernak (Tampa Bay Lightning) and NHL finalist Andrej Sekera (Dallas Stars).
