Austria's U16 team to play at Four Nations Tournament in Kranj, Slovenia
Austria's U16 men's national ice hockey team will compete at a Four Nations Tournament in Kranj, Slovenia, during the IIHF November break. For Head Coach Johannes Leitner and his team, it will be another important opportunity to assess their current standing and scout players from the 2010 birth year.

Only two players born in 2011 – defenceman Moritz Fleischmann and forward Leo Brandstätter – have been named in the squad for the games at Ledna dvorana Kranj against Italy, Hungary and hosts Slovenia. The rest of the roster consists of players born in 2010.
Before the U16 team travels to Kranj, it has been holding a training camp at the HTC Eishalle in Ferlach since Tuesday, before heading to the town in the Gorenjska (Upper Carniola) region, around 40 kilometres away.
The U16 national team was most recently assembled in Romanshorn, Switzerland, in August, where it suffered heavy defeats against eventual tournament winners Slovakia and Switzerland, but also recorded a prestigious victory over their peers from Germany.
