AST Eis- und Solartechnik offi­cial ÖEHV partner

Founded in 1986, AST Eis- und Solartechnik now operates worldwide and has been a longstanding and loyal partner, particularly in ice hockey. Its core competencies include temporary and permanent ice rinks, stadium renovations and solar systems for swimming pools or artificial turf heating.

Headquartered in Höfen, Tyrol, the company now maintains subsidiaries and affiliated companies in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, the USA and China. It also has an international partner network.

The company is very well known in both Austrian and international ice hockey. At the most recent home World Championship in 2005, it supplied Vienna and Innsbruck with boards and ice resurfacing machines; in 2007, it delivered 70 ice hockey rinks to Russia; in 2010, it was responsible for the complete ice technology equipment for the opening game of the top-division World Championship at Schalke; in 2016, it built Europe's highest ice hockey rink on the summit of the Zugspitze; and it was the full-service supplier for the top-division World Championship in Denmark. Figure skating has also relied on Tyrolean expertise for many years. Most recently, at the home European Championships in Graz in 2020, AST acted as the full-service supplier.

Until the end of 2024, AST Eis- und Solartechnik will be an official ÖEHV partner and will in future feature on ÖEHV interview backdrops and promotional materials. “AST Eis- und Solartechnik is a company renowned far beyond the sport of ice hockey.
