Training Programme A: Youth Elite Sport Coaching
If you have completed a degree in sports science, a teaching degree in physical education and sport or studies at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, and have completed state coaching training in a specific sport, you can apply for Programme A at 14 different locations across Austria. Your prospects: working as a regional base coach for a state or national sports federation, at a youth competence centre or special programme, a state or national elite sports centre, or an Olympic centre.

Training Programme B: Sports Management
If you have completed an ORG-L (additional business training desirable), HAS-L or HAK-L within the past two years, or completed the Apprenticeship and Elite Sport model, you can apply for Programme B at 16 locations across Austria. Your prospects: senior roles in sports federations, clubs, associations, leagues or one of the umbrella sports organisations; jobs at institutions such as Sporthilfe, Leistungssport Austria, Sport Austria, Austrian Sports, VÖN, KADA, or in event management for top sporting events.

Training Programme C: Talent Coaching
If you have completed a degree in sports science, a teaching degree in physical education and sport or studies at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, and may already have started state coaching training (in any sport), you can apply for Programme C at 14 different locations across Austria. Your prospects: working as a sports science staff member or sports coordinator at a youth competence centre or special programme; a role at a sports federation, a state or national elite sports centre, Leistungssport Austria, an Olympic centre, or in associations, clubs or leagues.
Programme C requirements profile
You will be paid by the institution at your place of work. The Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport provides the financial resources for this. More information at www.bmkoes.gv.at/gtp
