2.600 fans at the KE KELIT Arena witnessed a high-scoring top-of-the-table clash, in which Widen gave the home side the lead on the power play as early as the third minute. The Juniors turned the game around through Juhola and Eliseev before Zell am See equalised before the first intermission. The reigning champions pulled away to 5:2 with three goals in the middle period. The teams went into the second break with the score at 6:4. In the 59th minute, Tomazevic sealed the 7:4 final score with a shorthanded empty-net goal. In the first of two consecutive meetings, Sisak took the lead through Larionovs in the sixth minute. In an evenly balanced game, the Vorarlberg side equalised in the middle period in front of nearly 1.000 fans when Lipsbergs converted a penalty shot. With the score still 1:1 after overtime, the decision came in the shootout, where Idzan secured the extra point for the still second-placed Croatians. The teams will meet again in Dornbirn on Sunday.

Kitzbühel's Adler extended their winning run with a 4:1 road victory over the Unterland Cavaliers, remaining unbeaten for the sixth game in a row. The Tyroleans made a strong start, dominated the first period and led 2:0 thanks to goals from Loshing and Krainz. After the interval, the Cavaliers improved and cut the deficit to 1:2 on the power play through Potsinok. However, Kitzbühel responded immediately, with Podlipnik restoring the two-goal lead with a precise shot. In the final period, KEC goaltender Tom McCollum protected the lead with some fine saves before Maxa sealed the 4:1 final score with an empty-net goal.

Svetina again scored the winner in overtime, ending Jesenice's losing streak.
