A complete success: ENZO Forum with insights from Sports Director Roger Bader

ENZO stands for Eishockey Nachwuchs Zentrum Ost. Under this title, it works with kindergartens and schools and has also been able to integrate ice hockey into the regular curriculum at partner schools. At the 1st ENZO Forum of the school year, parents were informed about the testing carried out in November and how they can support their child’s athletic development. Sports Director and Head Coach Roger Bader also provided insights into the programmes of the national teams.

In the ballroom of the Bildungscampus in Attemsgasse in Vienna, Fabian Stubenvoll, ASKÖ, presented background information on the athletic motor skills tests carried out by ENZO and explained how parents can support their children in developing their sporting abilities.

Roger Bader, the successful Head Coach of the Austrian national ice hockey team, then provided details on the preparation process for an A Group World Championship and the pieces of the puzzle that contributed to our team’s outstanding World Championship performances in Prague 2024.

“Our work does not end in schools and kindergartens. It is important to us that we reach out to parents through this forum, support them and provide them with information about what their children experience and learn with us. Roger Bader’s participation was a great opportunity for everyone present to find out how things are done at the top level and what it takes to reach that level,” said Peter Andrecs, Head of ENZO, delighted with a successful event.
