And there is an extra treat for Austria’s ice hockey fans: not only will the ÖEHV U20 selection’s matches from Halifax be streamed live and made available on demand, but the final round, including highlights and LIVE insights, will also be available throughout Austria on the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation’s new streaming platform.

LIVE.eishockey.at offers tickets for individual matches as well as two World Championship passes. With the U20 World Championship Pass 1, you can follow all matches involving the Austrian U20 national team. That means at least five matches: four in the preliminary round plus a quarter-final. With the U20 World Championship Pass 2 (World Championship Pass Ö+), you can follow all of Austria’s preliminary-round matches, plus all relegation and final matches.

In Michael Berger, they have secured THE voice of Austrian ice hockey, who will commentate live on every Austria match and the final. 

Michael Berger: “It is also a first for me to commentate on a World Championship in this way. I am looking forward to watching the future generation, because what happens at a U20 World Championship and the future superstars who play their way into the spotlight is simply brilliant. Especially in Halifax, a hotbed of ice hockey from which such big names as Brad Marchand, Nathan MacKinnon and Alex Killorn originate. I hope our players can show what they are made of at this World Championship.”

• U20 World Championship Pass 1 (all matches involving the Austrian U20 national team – at least five matches): EUR 39.-
• U20 World Championship Pass 2 (all of Austria’s preliminary-round matches + all relegation and final matches (14-15 matches with two relegation matches – there may also be three matches due to the "best-of-three" format): EUR 49.-
